ARTreach is all about Art & Educational programs that REACH, support, and improve the lives of others
These are innovative art programs that work to address the educational and social needs represented by students, parents and teachers in our school districts, as well as by clients and case workers in welfare agencies, county courts and social service.  Art is used to enhance an educational approach, provide enrichment, or support counseling.  ARTreach responds to all needs and requests and will develop and pilot art programs to support specific issues related to education and social skills development. ARTreach evaluates the impact of the art program, and supports the funding of ARTreach Programs for schools and communities in need.

About ARTreach

ARTreach is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (established 2003) to provide mentoring and art-related programs to a growing population of children at risk and to others in need within the tri county area of Katy,Texas.  ARTreach develops unique programs that teach expressive arts, and that also help individuals develop a sense of self worth. These art programs introduce, and provide an opportunity to practice life skills that can help address issues such as student apathy, social dysfunction, grief, drug abuse awareness and prevention, health and recovery.

ARTreach trains and contracts professional teaching artists to deliver programs to our highest standards. ARTreach recruits volunteers to assist in the classroom.  Our organization works to secure the necessary funding to deliver quality visual and performing art programs to under-served populations and individuals who may not otherwise experience the arts as a part of the lives.

We are leveraging our core strengths; artists and the creative solutions inspired by the arts, our ability to support programs marketing and arts advocacy, our artists capabilities, and our volunteers willingness and interest in serving others, by establishing strategic partnerships with social service organizations and schools districts with a mutual interest in providing benefits to their clients and students. We are engaging the community to help. ARTreach collaborates with other fine art, theater and music organizations, plus local art businesses, to augment our art and educational outreach programs and services. We recruit and train volunteers and teachers in order to be able to expand our reach.
