Jill Brown
Visual Arts Instruction

Jill has over 30 years’ experience teaching art and theater in middle school. With degrees in Art Education and minors in Music and Theater, she has been honored to share her love and passion for both the visual and performing arts with young people. Working with ARTreach has opened up the door to give Jill the privilege of working with seniors through Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels and at Watercrest Sugar Land. In addition to ARTreach, she teaches Bedside Art at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Jill loves working with mixed media, sketch booking, journal making, wire sculpture, and her newest venture, Plein-air painting, studying under a local artist in Taos, NM.

“The arts enrich and bring so much joy to our lives at any age. One is never too young or too old! Every age is the perfect age for Art!”

ARTreach is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides mentoring and art-related programs to a growing population of children at risk, children and adults with special needs, the elderly and others in need.
