Kristin Miller

Theatre Instruction & Performance

Kristin has more than 30 years of teaching and performing experience in all facets of the performing arts. She began her career at age 14 as an actor and model with McCarty Agency, Salt Lake City, UT. She performed in the touring company for the Life Arts Center as the title role of Liang, in the modern dance title, "Liang and the Magic Paint Brush."

Since then, she has taught tens of thousands of students ranging in age from 2 to 100 in acting, choreography, dance, directing, creative writing, and more. She has taught for Houston Community College Systems and countless other organizations. She has written, in partnership with the Book's Alive Literacy Team, 12 musicals for children that have been seen by more than 250,000 patrons since its inception 10 years ago.

Kristin is the Artistic Director of Books Alive! Theatre Company and is Lead Teaching Artist for her Imagine That Theatre Instruction Programs.
