The Late Bloomers Program seeks to expose seniors to the thrill of theater. To many seniors, attending a professional play has many obstacles, both physical and financial. Popular titles that bring so much joy to thousands are out of the reach of many seniors to enjoy. Imagine That seeks to bring theatre to those populations by providing exciting workshops that highlight a new musical each session in which students will be introduced to the plot, characters, musical numbers and production elements of current Broadway musicals performed by professional singers. Aided by overhead projection, every student will be able to see in full detail the incredible costuming and make up as well as watch scenes and dance numbers from titles such as Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, and Wicked, just to name a few.
